Poobah MCP Server
Welcome to the documentation for the Poobah MCP Server - an AI-powered abstraction layer for interacting with blockchains.
What is Poobah MCP?
Poobah MCP is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that enables AI agents to interact with Andromeda blockchain services using natural language and structured tool calls. It eliminates the need for deep blockchain technical knowledge by providing a clean, intuitive interface for:
- Wallet Management - Connect wallets, check balances, send tokens
- Smart Contract Operations - Deploy, execute, and query composable digital objects
- Asset Discovery - Find and explore blockchain assets
- Cross-Chain Messaging - Send messages between chains via messaging protocols
- Schema Exploration - Understand digital object structures and available operations
Available Tools
The server exposes 37 tools organized into logical categories:
| Category | Tools | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Wallet Operations | 5 | Connect wallets, check balances, send tokens |
| DO Operations | 7 | Deploy, execute, and query smart contracts |
| Chain Operations | 5 | Switch chains, get chain info and status |
| Schema Operations | 3 | Fetch ADO schemas and response structures |
| Indexer Operations | 5 | Discover and search blockchain assets |
| AMP Operations | 3 | Cross-chain messaging |
| Query Operations | 2 | Balance and transaction queries |
| Kernel Operations | 2 | Kernel management |
| Environment Operations | 1 | Switch between testnet/mainnet/devnet |
| VFS Operations | 1 | Virtual filesystem path resolution |
| Service Operations | 1 | Get Andromeda service addresses |
| Transaction Operations | 1 | Broadcast signed transactions |
| System Operations | 1 | Health checks and debugging |
