Poobah MCP
Introduction

Poobah MCP Server

Welcome to the documentation for the Poobah MCP Server - an AI-powered abstraction layer for interacting with blockchains.

What is Poobah MCP?

Poobah MCP is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that enables AI agents to interact with Andromeda blockchain services using natural language and structured tool calls. It eliminates the need for deep blockchain technical knowledge by providing a clean, intuitive interface for:

  • Wallet Management - Connect wallets, check balances, send tokens
  • Smart Contract Operations - Deploy, execute, and query composable digital objects
  • Asset Discovery - Find and explore blockchain assets
  • Cross-Chain Messaging - Send messages between chains via messaging protocols
  • Schema Exploration - Understand digital object structures and available operations

Available Tools

The server exposes 37 tools organized into logical categories:

CategoryToolsDescription
Wallet Operations5Connect wallets, check balances, send tokens
DO Operations7Deploy, execute, and query smart contracts
Chain Operations5Switch chains, get chain info and status
Schema Operations3Fetch ADO schemas and response structures
Indexer Operations5Discover and search blockchain assets
AMP Operations3Cross-chain messaging
Query Operations2Balance and transaction queries
Kernel Operations2Kernel management
Environment Operations1Switch between testnet/mainnet/devnet
VFS Operations1Virtual filesystem path resolution
Service Operations1Get Andromeda service addresses
Transaction Operations1Broadcast signed transactions
System Operations1Health checks and debugging
